    Also, I notice they did solo albums...and basically parodied the KISS solo album covers...

    I've never heard any of those solo albums.

    Houdini and Stoner Witch are their classic albums

    I listened to Houdini a couple of times. Sounds like bad Danzig IMO. Maybe I just don't "get it."

    really? I can't say I get the Danzig comparison but that's OK. I've never heard any Danzig that was in my opinion as straight forward heavy as Melvins. I like it but haven't ever tried to get others to like or expect them to have my taste in music. I will tell you when I think what you like sucks but I don't expect you to care about that either.

    Give Stoner Witch a try, if you don't like that I guess the Melvins just aren't for you.
