    Any good p2p recommendations out there? There's a very expensive piece of software I want to try out before I buy, but they don't have a demo...

    it's pretty much bittorrent these days. I use utorrent, as it's a fairly small program itself. no bloated software or extensions in it like some others.

    bit torrents here too. and utorrent is probably the easiest like he said. If I can't find it there, I can usually find it on Limewire. Download the free version, then use Limewire to download the Pro version for faster d/l speeds. And be sure your anti-virus is kicking. Especially for the bit torrent sites. Popups are often laced with worms.

    what do you use?

    newsgroups are fine if you feel like paying, which I'm guessing most people don't if they are illegally downloading in the first place. Torrents are free and are usually done in a few hours once you build up the ratio.
