    He used to be the editor or something to that effect for the Weekley East Newspaper. A free paper you received on wednesday and sunday. They paid 1 cent per delivery, 1.5 cents if they had a flyer going with it. I had two routes one with 132 papers and the other I split with a friend and it was 188 papers. Big money back in the 70's for a kid. He does play by play for the Davidson Wildcat basketball now. He used to do the Dean Smith show.

    he might have done the sports each day on BigWays Radio way back in the 70's also ...i think that was him..

    Was play-by-play voice the of the 49ers too in the 70s & early 80s.

    The audio tapes of Killer along with Jay Thomas providing color are some classics.

    Yep, I remember riding in the car with my Dad listening to the show. He did a sports talk show. I'm not sure it was supposed to be, but it seems it was mostly about the Tarheels.:rolleyes: Kilgo was a fiery host. My Dad would bust out laffing when somebody dared to disagree with Kilgo, which normally resulted in being called an idiot and then getting hung up on.:notworthy
