Even though they ended up winning the game, problems persist. Too many turnovers, and mental errors. I dont see much, if any improvment over week 1 and 2 to make me optimistic about the rest of the year.

The defense wasn't stellar but they only gave up like 210 yards. The passing game looked alive with Smith back in there. The new line needs some time to gel to whatever extent they can but Jake needs to be more aware.

I have to agree. I still feel slightly nauseous even though we won. I mean I'm glad we won and everything, but I haven't been able to enjoy it so far.

I think someone has done a body switch between Jake and J P Losman. I am starting to think there might be something to all that voodoo stuff down in the bayou.

Well, 26 points is an improvement. Quite an improvement.

101 total yards rushing is an improvement.

272 yards passing is an improvement. Jake had a few sail on him, but he stepped into his throws better today.

Issues? Ball security. Make Jake and Foster run the gauntlet. The first fumble was just weak. Jake's second one he tries a double pump, unless the second pump was a pass that was hit to soon. Either way, we didn't have that kind of time. And time and time again, I saw Foster run through the middle without putting the ball away.

Bridges struggles I can understand. Let's give him some more help. But Gross. Good lord man, get mad. Penalties and pressure from him all day.

I didn't like Kemo getting put on his ass.

And we had far too many penatlies on both sides of the ball. They extended drives, and stopped ours.

    We were lucky.

I'm starting to wonder about this Kemo guy. He dosn't seem to play big or strong.

Well I have to hand it to you Collin you called this one. I remember the screen captures you showed of Baltimore games where Kemo was constantly either stoned on the line or being driven back. At the time I had hoped that perhaps him being teamed with Jenkins would help, but that doesnt seem to be the case. However D Lewis has done better than I expected him to do after washing out in St Louis.
