Plummer is a curious case because statistically he's very similar to Jake over the last three seasons, and arguably slightly better. He's known for some heroics and some screwups, just like someone else we know, and yet most Panthers fans wouldn't agree that they're very similar.

Also, I don't have a clue where you get "no way" on Culpepper. He's younger than Jake, more talented than Jake, and as bad as he's been over the first two weeks, Jake has been worse.

no doubt. i put him in the no thanks category because i don't think he has any upside. i think we've seen the best of plummer. we maybe have seen the best of jake, too, but he's got more tread on his tires, so i'd keep him over plummer. to delhomme's credit, though, he has gotten the panthers to two nfc championship games and a superbowl.

They're the same age, and QB is not a position where you wear down over a certain number of plays, like RB.

you kidding? i think you're going on reputation (mostly built throwing to moss). now that culpepper can't move, he's a joke. no wonder the vikings were willing to let him go for a 2nd rounder.

culpepper over the last 18 games: 70 sacks, 23 ints, 10 fumbles

    i'll pass.

He really wasn't the problem yesterday. As the season progresses, so should Culpepper.
