    QB - 3 (Del/Wei/Bas)
    RB - 5 (Fos/Wil/She/Goi/Hoo)
    TE - 3 (Man/Gai/Sei)
    WR - 4 (Smi/Joh/Col/Car)
    OL - 9 (Wha/Wah/Har/Mat/Gro/Han/But/Mon/For)

    CB - 5 (Luc/Gam/Mar/How/Bus)
    S - 4 (Min/Wil/Bra/Sal)
    LB - 7 (Mor/Dav/Dig/Dra/Ada/And/Sew)
    DL - 9 (Ruc/Jen/Kem/Pep/Wal/Lew/Moo/Hay/Bro)

    ST - 4 (Kas/Bak/Kyl/Hil)

PS - King, Haynes, McCullum, McClover, Stenavich

Cut - Hankton, Robertson, Cramer, Ciurciu, LeFors, Ellison, McCadam, Kadela, Beasley

    Trade - Carstens

some team might contact us before the deadline on Saturday and offer us something for one of our DTs. IMO Carstens is both expendable and appealing enough coming off a solid year last season to draw interest. Since whoever we cut would immediately become a Texan, Saint, or Titan one of 28 other teams needing a DT would probably part with at least a 6th for one of our castoffs and that's better than nothing

    QB - 3 (Del/Wei/don't care)

Seriously, it doesn't matter. though indeed Leflours sucks, neither has really distiguished themselves from in pratice from what I hear. My guess is that we'd keep Leflours and PS the other kid.

    RB - 6 (Fos/Wil/Goi/Robertson/Hoo/Cramer)

I would like a backup FB. Robertson stays as a gunner and second kickoff guy.

    TE - 3 (Gai/Mag/Sei)

Gaines has been with the first string since Spring.

    WR - 5 (Smith/Joh/Col/Car/Hill)

    OL - 9 (Wha/Wah/Har/Mat/Gro/Han/But/Mon/For)

Agree here. A bit thin at tackle though. I'd just as soon cut Handjob

    CB - 5 (Luc/Gam/Mar/How/Bush)

I don't like going in with only 5 corners, you kind of need 4 active on gameday these days.

    S - 4 (Min/Wil/Bra/Sal)

Branch's releative improvement makes me feel better about this position than having to rely on Salley as a top backup.

    LB - 6 (Mor/Dav/Dig/Dra/And/Sew)

It's either Adams, or Bush or Carstens. Not actually sure if Adams isn't 8th here.

    DL - 9 (Ruc/Jen/Kem/Pep/Wal/Lew/Moo/Hay/Carstens)

Better to keep our depth here.

    ST - 3 (Kas/Bak/Kyl)

DO you gents really believe that we go with only 4 or 5 WRs? Last year we carried 7 on the 53 man roster with 4 or 5 active.

Especially since they always seem to find a way to keep Hankton...

With over 6 million in available cash space, IR is not out of the question for few dinged up guys.

Smith, Colbert, Carter, Proehl, Hankton, Rod Gardner for a while ... who else am I missing? 5 WR isn't that unusual, it just depends on what you have for your 5. We carried extra last year because it was our first without Moose.

Damn, I need to go back to school. I went through all of our gamebooks from last year a couple months ago and came up with the 7 number. I guess somewhere along the line, I added 1 +1 and got 5 or something close after rounding. 6 with 4 or 5 active is correct.
