    ESPN's Jeremy Green states that it's fairly reliable info that the Panthers contacted the Chargers about Edwards' availability.

    The Panthers would have to stomach a $3.3 million salary until they got a contract done with him.

    Isnt Edwards a Wlb? If so is the injury to Diggs more serious than were led to believe? If so is this a no confidence vote for Adams? Or is a replacement for Morgans and his chronic concussions, if so does he have the ability to play MLB? Hes 20+ pounds lighter than Morgan.

    He plays right side ILB in their scheme. I'd put him at WLB here, personally, and I think he's played mostly WLB in a 4-3 I believe.
