They are over hyping him and Bush. It is preseason and that is what you would expect.

IMHO those stats are not horrible but do not tell you the whole story anyway.

Don't get me wrong. In no way am I saying Williams will be a monster this year, but I think you're overestimating the number of TDs Bush gets this year as well. I think he's a 3rd down RB this year and a Punt and Kick Returner. Deuce will get most of the work. Now after this year it may be another story, but I don't expect Bush seeing the endzone a "ton". So it is possible Williams gets more sacks than Bush does TDs, and I voted that way.

Im not a fan of either player and would probably not have taken either had I been a front office person.

I think that Williams will be an averge end, not spectacular, but not great. As Collin said look at his college production take away 2-3 games and hes not even a first day pick.

Bush will never be an every down back, so far he has not show he even can be. He'll be a change of pace, gimmick player. While he will be very good, he wont be #2 overall good.

I think this year more than any other I can remember there werent any jaw dropping cant miss guys at the top of round 1. As someone pointed out ESPN is trying, for some reason, to spin William's production the other day into being more than it was. I saw the same thing when they showed the Bush highlights. Remarking how he can cut at full speed and that he is so amazing to watch. This is the same crap they have been feeding us about the amazing Ron Mexico for the past few years. I guess they are trying to validate how right they were as to how good these guys are going to be.

I'm sure Peppers has performed similarly. Especially in his first game or two.

a stuff and a batted ball in a half aren't really that bad for early career. Not that he'll ever be Reggie White, but changing two plays and not making any other tackles isn't embarassing.

Admit you hate Williams because of where he played.

I don't think it's that. I think he hates Williams because Bush is a better player. I don't hate Williams, but I don't believe he's ever going to be elite.
