An old coach of mine once said at the beggining of our summer camp that if any of us felt like he was our brother or priest at the end of camp to tell him so before we left so that he could do camp all over again and get it right...

Didn't someone recently say that Falcons camp looked pretty lax? If so and these guys think that's the hardest camp they've ever had, they must be pretty soft.

I can't wait for 9/10! I wish the Panthers were playing this bitches tonight. It’s my guess that they’re going to try to start some shit early by pushing Smittys ejection buttons. I hope Fox is preparing our guys for the likelihood that Moras girls will be trying to get in his players heads right from the coin toss. Since it’s a home game for us that should give us the advantage in that regard and if Mora does take that angle then it will be HIS guys getting penalized and ejected. I’ll be disappointed if at least one dirty bird does not get ejected in the first 10 minutes.

I hope so. That attitude certainly showed up against New England.

Their camp is pretty much at home, I think. I guess its easier to house the rookies where they are than at a hotel.

yeah. their training camp and regular season practices are held at the same facility in Flowery Branch, GA. Arthur Blank built a nice dormitory there for the team. This policy should be easier on the younger players who have not secured housing in the area.

Didn't they just upgrade the living quarters to luxury condos?

I'd rather have our guys staying in dorms, humble like, where the big deal is Peppers renting some furniture and Gross buying a rug.

The 1st makes sense. What do you do with the dorms for the other 11 months? I bet they're renting them out now.

    Yes to the 2nd.
