I just bought a new Sony camera that whips ass. Anyway, I'm trying to dump them off onto my work computer, but it won't let me do it without the weak ass Picture Package program that came with the camera. I'm simply trying to take the pictures from the camera and move them to the hard drive. Is there a simpler way?

Thanks in advance those of you that are smarter than I.

I saw a driver with a camera on saturday morning. stopped right in the middle of moorehead street to take my picture.

I just use the "Windows camera and scanner wizard". It pops up as an option when I plug my camera in. it goes in and pulls out the pictures, drops them in you "my pictures" folder and that's it. nothing too fancy, but nothing to get in the way either.

i would just treat the thing as an exrernal drive and browse the pictures with explorer. skip wizards and importers and shit. $.02

Totally agree. It is quick and easy, and since it can drop pics into a folder and then name all of the pictures intelligently (name of pics based on name of folder, adding an auto-incremented suffix). Otherwise you get DMZ_38a43.JPG...really nice. That's 99% of why I don't just use Explorer and drag and drop.
