PSL owners had a chance to gobble them up before the general public had a shot at them. It pays to know people.

I suspect alot of vendors, or whatever you call them, resellers like stubhub, bought more panther tickets this year in response to all the Superbowl prognostications for the Panthers.

I suspect it's more due to resellers/profiteers than bandwagon fans.

I spent most of the morning speculating whether prices will go up or down in the coming weeks. I finally bought a couple of tix to the Cleveland game on ebay for $160, plus $15 shipping. That seems to about be the bottom edge of the market right now, plus, though they were upper deck, they were 30yd line (most of the stuff out there is corners and endzones).

There are numerous resellers out there with nose bleed, corner and endzone tickets in the $65-85 range, but by the time you add a handling fee and shipping, you're typically looking at a minimum of $85 a ticket, and more likely over $100 a ticket for the really good games.

Prices might drop, particularly on ebay, but I wasn't taking the chance.
