    yep. Personally it would make more sense to use the #51 (or even #40) as the standard to honor the fallen here for several reasons, but I guess #3 is just the TBR tradition now.

    He was a load back in the day. I remember thinking if he could ever really get in a groove he could be dominant. I have always liked big backs, going back to Riggins I guess.

    back when Earnhardt died, we were still over at charlotte.com...a number of people flooded the site and posted about it. They decided to have this long thread with nothing but 3s in it to show their respect. So it started out as a bit of mocking but came to be our way of respect.
