Sabres came out hot and stayed that way. We looked sluggish most of the game. Friggin power plays bit us in the ass this time. Just not on the puck but at least we fought back. Hope we can take Friday's game.

random thoughts on a great game. what hitting in the second period, and Buffalo needed it after the Canes beat them down in Game 2. sabres lose another defenseman. Maybe Lindy will dress Friday. I think Jay McKee must've blocked about a dozen shots (including the one he directed into his own net).
Eric Staal is gonna be one of the game's next superstars. I doubt Miller even saw that slapper. Derek Roy could be great too, but his dive last night pissed me off. (Did he have a minor role as a Hobbit in LOTR?). Danny Briere's second goal...wow.

(BTW: I suffered a "lower body injury" while browsing the Cafe last night)

Good thing there weren't too many whistles from 1:46 on. I was holding my breath from the face off till the deflection to the right of Miller. That was a nail biter. Good work by the canes to battle back after being down 4 - 1.
