Mixon... trying to keep an open mind but reading today's Mick's Bag is one of the most useless 30 seconds I've ever spent. That's saying a lot, btw.

Tidbit in Yasinkas' Shelton piece I liked:

 

Knowing the plays is great, but a good follow-up question would have been:

"Have you figured out how to run like a 250lb. running back should?"

THAT is the question that needs to be answered.

 

I found a couple one of the blurbs in Mezners Morgan article revealing.

Especially this part with Morgan speaking of Davis...

"I think, really, there wasn't as much on his mind last year as there is this year. He really was just the joker (a linebacker who moved around) in one of our packages, and they had him concentrate on that last year. This year he's having to play the Sam position and he's having to come in and play dime (on passing downs), too. So there's a lot more he has to learn," Morgan said. "But once he gets it down, Thomas is as fast as they come and as athletic as they come. I think he's going to be a great one."

 

Answer coming soon. He's certainly a mystery to me. But the less he has to think the better the chance his ability can come through. I also like that he's aware his career is on the line.
