Isn't Fasano supposed to be decent at both?

We already knew this, but just to confirm it:
"Even though some mock drafts have the Panthers taking a tight end in the first round, don't expect that to happen."

Sounds like Salisbury's cue to jump in and tell him why he's a dumb ass (at the top of his lungs), because he never played QB in the NFL and QB's need a TE.

But I doubt we'd take one there too, athough Hurney's comments leave hope they would go for it if the right guy was available.

The Mario Williams hype is getting out of control: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft06/columns/story?columnist=smith_michael&id=2419503

"The game hasn't seen a man of Williams' size (6-foot-7, 295 pounds and growing -- he could carry 310) and strength (35 reps of 225 on the bench press) who moves (40-yard dash time in 4.6 to 4.7 seconds, 40½-inch vertical jump) with the knee-bend that he does."

    :wtf23:

Did I miss something? I was under the impression that Williams rarely dominated anyone at State. Did any of these people actually watch him play? There's no question that the guy is an incredible talent and that he's a good player, but I have yet to hear ACC fans (even State fans) say that this guy was as good as Peppers. But now the media is saying that he's even better. [IMG]

I'm somewhat shocked to feel myself warming to LenDale White. I've been saying all along that I think USC made him look better than he is, and there's no question that I have always expressed disdain for players with his attitude. All that said, I find myself more accepting of the idea without conscious volition. Maybe it's a pre-emptive measure because I just assume we'll go in that direction and I'd rather not get pissed about it, but I find the sentiment amusing (and slightly disconcerting) regardless. No point to this, I just thought I'd share this odd feeling.

Thanks for sharing Collin, now if we can continue in a clockwise direction around the circle of trust . . . Andrew, do you still have issues with the mailman banging your wife last year? :D
Seriously, I swear I've been doing the same "pre-emptive measure" in part due to what seems like the most predictable move on the part of our staff. But, who really knows what they'll do this time around. Anyway, our guys seem to reserve their most predictable behavior for game days.)
