    Thomas Davis will now don #58. Adams gets 50, Diggs gets 53.

    It's officially official....TD's an LB.....although, the good folks at Panthers.com still have him listed as a S, making him the NFL's only DB with a # above 49.:satana::satana::satana::satana::satana:

    Was kinda hoping he'd keep 47. But I believe the rules are 50s/90s. I'd not mind having one of those 47s... Maybe they'll pull the price down now.

    Linebackers can wear #'s in the 40's, but that only happens when nothing in the 50's or 90's is available. I have good memories of 58, and looking foward to seeing it on the field again.

    I just love how Panthers.com failed to update TD's position. Hey, maybe it's a smokescreen:imagestor:imagestorfrom David Monroe, or whoever runs that abortion.

    I hate it when they keep switching numbers.

    Can you imagine the shit storm from fans had Delhomme given 17 to Lefors last year. I mean, im glad Jake doesnt give a rats ass. But we fans sure do.

    The numbers deal doesn't bug me as much as when the official site of an NFL team doesn't take the time to update a player's entire profile. It'll be mid-October until Keith Adams' bio runs.

    Yeah, but the elite guys generally don't do that. Guys like Vinny and Shelton will reclaim their college numbers if they become available, and the new fellas have to pick something.
