    The reports 2 month's ago had us what $9.0m over the cap? 8 quality free agents later and we still got money to sign the draft picks.

    We won't get into cap trouble. After we win the SB, Chicago and Miami will sign all our free agents away from us.

    I know it's been said, but all the redskins do is offer contracts with initial 2-3 years at minimum + a huge signing bonus, which is then prorated over time. The salary shoots up later, but then they restructure to put most of the money in bonuses they can prorate again. It just matters if you have the ability to offer huge bonuses.

    The San Diego Union-Tribune reports the Carolina Panthers are $4.1 million under the salary cap, according to a source with NFL contractual data.
