Martinsville to 1 race? Vegas to 2?

    A way to return some tracks to the schedule for "real race fans".

    As much as I would hate to see Martinsville lose it's fall race, it's a done deal. Here is my suggestion.

    During the summer have a Busch mid-week Run what you Brung event in Martinsville, Rockingham, and even North Wilkesboro. This way, you have an old-style 250 lap evening feature (Rock and Martinsville does have lights). Have a field of 36 starters with TV.

    Also, give a 'mulligan" in the points chase if you add this event. The Busch series still have some open dates in the schedule and if it's on a Wednesday or Thursday, it wouldn't compete with the Cup series.
