You whip up Dom Capers a bagel, and they go 1-7 at home. Gee....thanks.

Funny, us all crossing paths with Panthers....I met John Fox at Maggiano's at South Park. It was an hour after we beat Tampa in the last minute at home in 2003. He was gracious, and took a minute to talk with me while he was waiting on his table. He was there with his wife. One-by-one, Panther after Panther came in.....Buckner, Jenkins, JD, Smitty. Matt Willig was there with his family. I got to know Spoon well last fall. He's a business partner with my aunt in Charlotte. Morgan is too. Both are great....very unassuming. Will was actually surprised himself that he went to STL. He kept telling us that he wanted to return, but if he didn't, he would probably end up in J'ville or Miami. And...N'orleans was never going to happen.

As for Carter building the house, it happens all the time. Many players like the Charlotte area because it is much smaller than other NFL cities. Lavon (sp?) Kirkland built a house on Lake Norman and he didn't even play in Charlotte. His house was right beside Pokey Reese's and near Kerry Collins'. Michael Dean Perry also lives on Lake Norman as does Joe Gibbs. Many others live there too, just too many to name. But this is a common occurance among the players.

Well, all of them besides Collins are from the area/region and Gibbs is there due to Nascar.

Joe Gibbs was born in Mocksville, so hes from close by. Marty Schottenhimer(sp) has a house at lake norman also..his daughter is married and lives there. Reggie White lived there. Ted Washington has a house out in weddington next to Eugene Robinson.

I seen Todd Sauerbrun grab six Coors Light's from behind the bar at Tavern on the Tracks about five hours before he got the DWI on South Blvd.
