    I ended up with WindowsOneCare and Windows Defender, Spybot S&D, and AdAwareSE. OneCare seems to be just fine, and for now its free. I'll jump on the 19.95 beta for the first year, before they raise to $49.

    McAfee is a total piece of shit. IMHFO.

    yup I did ask them. You can't run it in safe mode. the things they told me was to rerun the scan and to go to http://safety.live.com nd run a scan.

    Can you run that safety.live.com scan in safe mode (with networking)? If so, sweet. If not, that sucketh.
