Expanding the Playoffs to 14 teams?

Lets change the most successful tournament in the history of sports, the NCAA basketball tournament, to 16 teams because a player from a 1 seeded team does not deserve to be on the same court as a player from a 16th seeded team. That way only the top 16 teams in the country get in and we can keep the tournament to a few days. Teams outside of the top 16 dont have a chance anyway.



As far as Im concerned, the more football the better.

 

I do too. Let the NBA and NHL make their regular season meaningless not the NFL.

 

The only way I support that is if the extra teams in the postseason are the best records overall left out, regardless of conference. That way if the AFC has a better year, then they get more teams in, and vice versa for the NFC. There's always someone at 10-6 that is left out because of a strong division and conference. It will never happen that way, so I do not support expansion of the playoffs, even if by one game per conference.

 

I agree! NHL every team but seems like 2 get in the playoffs, and NBA maybe 6 teams don't make it. That's why they play the regular season.
