    The Carolina Hurricanes topped Tampa Bay tonight 2-1 on Marck Recchi's game winning goal - his first as a Hurricane. Corey Stillman scored Carolina's first goal.

    The Hurricanes only skated 19 players as injuries continue to hurt the team. Ray Whitney joined Doug Weight, Brett Hedican, Nic Wallin, Joe Vasicek, Erik Cole and Addrew Hutchinson on the injury list.
