    I'd rather see Tony Dungy as commissioner a loooooooong way before I'd want to see Rich McKay as one.

    I don't see him as a commissioner type at all. He just don't seem like the executive type.

    Crappy idea.

    I respect Dungy a lot, even though his teams have a tendency to fold in playoff time. I suppose it's conceivable he might make a good commissioner (heck, it's conceivable Bonnie Bernstein would make a good commissioner) but going from just being a head coach to running the entire league is too big a jump.

    Roger Goodell is probably the best choice.

    The Jags writer even is pointing to this. I think Tony is a man who is well respected by player and owners, so maybe we need someone who will keep the 2 sides talking during contract talks and tackle the tough issues like Steriods. (NFL has the best abuse policy in sports, IMO).
