Bill "understands", but is very upset over the fact that his sources tell him Ricky P has been given the shaft and won't be back. Said he's upset that Ricky was told that the organization is "going in another direction", and Bill's word is that that is "typical" of the front office. I guess he'd know...Ouch!

Personally, I want Ricky back, but understand if he's not. If he comes back it would be for a guarenteed spot, and that's not something the team can offer IMO.

If he wants to blame someone, it would have to be Colbert, not Fox or Hurney.

Bill is a bitter man. After listening to him whine basically every time I've ever listened to the show I can see how he could annoy team.

If he is blasting the franchise then my guess is he is settling into his role as a radio host because what pro team is going to give a crybaby a job knowing that if they let him go he'll whine like a bitch.

How do we know that Proehl didn't say he was going to retire and that motivated the FO to go after K. Johnson?

According to Bill, RP got a phone call with the message that the team is going in another direction even though he wanted to come back. Now that's just Bill's take, he may be trying to get RP on his side to gain some sympathy. Also, Bill says there are members of the team not happy about this unfolding of events. Again, this sounds a little like Bill building his case.

Phroel > Key? Sorry, no way
