I know which team I'd like him to go to. If the Raiders get him in a trade, Collins is officially GONE. (But good riddance.)

I think the Collins cut was rescinded because of all the labor stuff.

They could trade Culpepper for Collins. Then Culpepper could go suck ass for the Raiders.

The difference maker is that the Raiders don't have a penny to spare and the Cards have an open check book. If memory serves me correctly, the Cards and the Vikings have the most money available. Either team could, in effect, buy a championship run this year.

They could buy some parts, but the Cardinals seem to be perennially under the salary cap, yet never make a huge splash in free agency. They've locked up Warner for the next couple of years. He can give them what they need, as long as the have a legit running threat (which they have never had). So I'd spend the money towards upgrading the offensive line, and finding a solid running back.

Arrington is a fine running back, it's just that they have the worst run blocking line in the league (unforgiveable considering how big and strong they are), and they're a terrible pass blocking line to boot. Clearly my Elton Brown infatuation was unwarranted, and I always did think that Leonard Davis was crap. They need to blow it all up and start over with some smaller, quicker, smarter, harder working guys.

I wouldn't close the book on Brown yet, surround him with some more talented players (not necessarily 4 All-Pro's) and I think he'd be much improved. I'd keep him and use him as the one to build ON rather than around. Denny Green needs to get his own players in line and he'll do fine, hell he's got the money, but he's always preferred to build through the draft rather than FA.
I'd bet they'll focus on the O-line and look to get more athletic on the edges. Thier D-line wasn't great, but they have something to work with there at least. Just adding a pass rusher/run stuffer in the middle would help them greatly.
