How does he treat his players badly?

Snyder's not known always for tact and butted in and made a mess on a lot of football decisions, but everything I have heard is that he spends a lot of money on players, coaches, facilities, etc.

Jerry is great, a former player, respects the game, and a great business man, so I do prefer Jerry, but I am curious of your comments on Snyder.

Didn't Snyder take Norv into some basement office after a loss and tear him a new one? I think that was back in '00. But no, I can't think of any examples of him roasting a player. At least not in public view.

That story doesn't mesh with what I've read and heard about what went on with Arrington. For one thing, pretty much all sources have said that any contract screw-up was the fault of Arrington and his agent. No draft ever contained the supposed extra $6.5 million, and both people had to sign every single page of the contract for it be validated. Then there were numerous rumors in '04 that Arrington wasn't being serious about his rehab or trying to get back out onto the field as a way of sticking it to the team over the contract issue. Moreover, I have a terribly hard time believing that Joe Gibbs or Gregg Williams would play those sorts of games with Arrington. If he wasn't playing, it's because they didn't believe he deserved to, not because Snyder was trying to screw with his mind. I don't like Daniel Snyder at all, but from my perspective I definitely believe that Arrington ran himself out of town.

The Coles part is harsh, though, if true.

That's kind of how I took it, and that's what suprised me. Just don't see Arrington being that way, he always seemed so humble and soft spoken in college. When he turned pro, he started getting cocky.
You sign a contract, you adhere to the boundries of said contract and shut the fuck up, IMO. However, never seems to work that way now days...not in professional sports anyway...and that seems to bleed over to any contract situation in the "real world".
