odd to not hear about it till now, or at least to not have been more aware of it. I do assume this would cause some problems, sure. But the natural thing that'll be wondered and/or stated next is whether it means he'll bounce back.

If he could be counted on (and I'm leery), you can re-sign Proehl at a value price and be done with WR.

Why advertise it out there durng the season? There are many defenders out there that if they know about a weakness they will attack it. Glad they kept it under wraps. Else there could have been a career ending injury in the making...

if he would have had the surgery, everybody would have been all over him for being injury prone...

Given Fox's tendency to not rush players back after an injury, I wonder why he was playing at all, if it affected his play.

He must have some serious nerve damage for him to drop some of those balls that hit him in the hands based on his ankle.

You didn't know that the nerve in your hand is directly connected to your ankle?

Maybe that is why he sucked then. I would still like to add someone to the mix though. Maybe a receiving tight end would be the best option.

Guy must not have seen any games. We need to bring in some legit competition at the least.

one ankle injury does not equal injury prone. It's good to know there's a reason Colbert was this awful, and that surgery would've ended his season, but let's not pretend that we weren't correct in thinking that Colbert played like crusty ass last year.
