    Are they EVER gonna announce where this will be?? It was supposed to be way back at the awards ceremonies... that's been nearly 3 months if I remember right.

    I've been hearing for several months now that it will be announced sometime at the end of Feb. - beginning of March.

    its hard for me to think that atlanta is better suited for the HOF over charlotte though.95% of the teams are here,3 big races a year,plus the fan base here is alot more prevelant than atlanta

    hell, atlanta couldn't even get night racing to catch on years ago when it was first tried. what losers.

    I haven't read where they're announcing it during the Atlanta weekend. I went looking and can't find it. I did notice they didn't announce it at Daytona this weekend and that there's a good chance they may be out of it now. I also heard that officials have told Atlanta that Charlotte actually has an advantage because of the guaranteed money.

    the observer did a sit down with brian france the week before the 500 and he said that the announcement should be around the weekend of the atlanta weekend
