Earlier post was in error. I have the 3520. I am giving up on Dark Water. Three different copies of it and get the same initial message on Decrypting. This must be their way to keep folks from copying. Worst part is this was a full screen variety where as the other 2 were wide screen. Oh well. Tried to get a copy of Crash tonight and it had the same error message in initial decrypt about bad sectors at beginning

I have copied both of those movies. You may want to look at updating the firmware on your drive, or replacing it, and if you have two DVD readers, try them both.

    This statement spooks me
"These pages are only for advanced users. Bad flashing could destroy your drive definitively. Read carefully the installation notes of your firmware before you upgrade. The Firmware Page and the drive manufacturer can't be responsable on REMEMBER: This is at your own risk!!!! "

Come on now, me advanced? :thud:

Just bought me a new burner off of Newegg. NEC3550 for 39.95 no shipping or tax. Will be in my box by Friday. Just curious I have nothing on my extra hard drive of any interest. Would formatting the "D" drive and running chkdisk and then decrypting the movie to it be a smart thing? I tried to decrypt 3 new movies on to the hard drive and had the same bullshit message. All of the movies upon decrpting said something about bad sectors and that dummy sectors would be installed in their place.
