He is a good player. In his 2nd year he had the 2nd best yardage season in Seahawk history behind Largent- and then the wheels came off a little. Koren could be 1,000 yard rec easily. K-Rob on the other side of Steve Smith would be absolutely lethal, and I would love to see what a year of working with Ricky Proehl could do for him.

Again though- he is a RFA so Minny can match any offer.

He is still a very young player who could turn out to be good for a long time. Chris Carter was in this position at one time and he got it together and had a great career. I do not think any NFL team will risk putting a lot of money into him until he proves he is not going to relapse. If a team does I hope it is not us.

As long as Fox fells good about him I would offer him something to come here and see if the Vikings want to match it. There should be no compensation if they choose not to match since they did not draft him?

Reasonably priced, I'd be all over it.

We would be able to set our RB doster differently if we use a WR for returns. I like Smart as a gunner but that's about it.

If their deal is right of first refusal, then yes, no compensation. Since he's been in the league 5 years, he can't be RFA, so I'm not sure what's at work with that.

meatpile has a good point. If he was on the love boat, regardless of what he did or didn't do, his head isn't on straight. As far as I know, a big part of what they talk about in rehab is keeping yourself out of potentially negative environments. You don't need to go to a stripper party to get laid, and you know that where there are strippers, there's drugs and alcohol.

Not getting caught is an improvement to his prior behavior.

FWIW Koren denied being on the boat, and he wasn't named in the police reports. His name was one of several initially, but that was a speculative list at the time.
