    I'm good friends with Koren and he has wanted to come home and play for a while now. Koren has grown up alot, he's always been a great guy just too much money too fast and made some wrong decisions.

    The biggest problem now though is that Minnesota has the right to match any offer for him. Some sites are saying he is UFA but he is not. So either we pay a little too much or probally won't get him. Hopefully if he thinks Minny will match, he will just sign a one year contract and be unrestricted next offseason and come home then.

    I'm hoping that he makes a good impression on the coaches this week and they can see what kind of person he is and what type of player he can be.

    I told him to make sure he showed up for practice early and worked his butt off this week to open Fox's eyes a little bit.

    Koren is good friends with DeAngelo Hall who is really close with Smitty so hopefully Smitty and KRob can bond and Smitty can go to bat for him aswell.

    cantgetright - was Koren on the love boat?

    That's the thing I didn't care for - I heard he was on that boat after he supposedly changed his behavior.

    Just being on the boat does't really mean much to me, unless he knew ahead of time what was gonna happen. Hooking up with hot chicks... unless he's married, where's the problem?

    No problem - unless you're a guy that's had substance abuse problems. He was on a boat with open drug use and drinking. Seems more like a guy trying harder to not get caught than to actually change.
