I've heard from folks who have been over to 1520 South Blvd. Suite 300 and have seen TBR up on PC's over at 'The Franchise', so who knows who's reading this site (Gary/Jim/Fat Fingers/Yarboro/Packman/Hayseed/QCB/Penner & Mac Producer Dude/B.O.C/Golfdude on the Weekend/DJ Stout/WFNZ General Manager/Sales Staff/Engineers/etc.). Unlike the old days at the Charlotte.com Sportstalk board, it doesn't do them any good to come on here and get into a fight with us (like Packman & DJ Stout use to do over there) so they are more obliged to just read what's going on vs. replying to us directly.

Packman's stint is going on 7 years now? He's the local King of All Media; He won't leave until he wants to leave. Which will be in about 20-25 years probably!!!!!!

Dude, you are smoking crack. The rating will start sliding soon and the station will come up with something fresh.

He claims to be #1, however that is easily obtained when you have no competition. Any other drive time sports radio would make him #2 real quick because he has most of the city tuning him out. His act is redneck, over done and really stale.

A full time espn radio station would burry 610. I have it on sirius and the quality of programming isn't worth comparing.

ask gerry V how that worked out

John Boy and Billy is the best example in many ways. their act is redneck, over done and stale...but they have been on the air forever

That’s because their audience is teenagers and people in their early 20’s…the demographic basically renews itself as dipshit kids get older.

Nobody listened to Gerry V before Packer was around.

Fat Boy and GayBilly are syndicated all over the south in bigger markets. I read somewhere that there ratings in the Charlotte area continue to fall but they are doing well in real redneck cities.
