Canes Embarass Canadians 8-2

The Carolina Hurricanes chased Jose Theodore again tonight, this time only 5 minutes into the second period after he had given up 5 goals on 10 shots including a hat trick to Erik Cole.

In addition to Cole, Staal netted 2 goals and Kevyn Adams, Craig Adams and Nordgren each had 1. Cole had a 4 point night, Staal 3, Ray Whitney 3, LaRose 2 and Kaberle 2.

Canes score 8 goals on 26 shots - Cole scored his hat trick on 3 shots.

The Montreal fans cheered the Hurricanes last 2 goals as if they were the home team. All in all a bad night for the Habs.

 

I say for everytime the Habs lose, Slans has to not post for 3 months.

 

I remember when the Habs fans did that once before... that was a certain goalies' last game with them. He demanded to be traded.


oh yea... I think he won the cup that year too.

It was weird, the fans cheered when he made a save. He raised both his arms up, and the crowd was silent. How quickly they forget who made that team what is was and how important his role.

 

Guess i wont post for about 10 years at this rate.
