They aren't quite as whacko as the lady that dresses like a cheerleader and loudly announced how my dog was sniffing her crotch because she was on the rag that day.

    But they're all kinda related.

Well I know Greg "Catman" Goode and while he may not be in the top 25 of superfans, he is the most consistent thing this town currently has. He drives from Winston-Salem and never misses a game and he actually does do some charity stuff with kids hospitals. So anyone that is active int he community is good in my book. That whole VISA hall of fans thing was a corruptable influence and I am pretty glad they stopped doing it. I remember one year I think it was 2000 they had people come to some tent to compete for it. Saw the lots of clever costumes from people who probably never went to a game before that nor have they shown up since. Even as self promoting as I can tend to get sometimes, I never once wanted to be part of that fiasco.

The only thing I have on Greg was back in 1997 when we played Green Bay he wore a Green Bay jersey to the game. It was in fact the very same night that Moose tossed him his #87 jersey which Catman has worn ever since. But anytime Greg gets a little full of himself I always remind him of the Green Bay jersey episode!!

heh - awesome. Thought it was kinda dumb to say.

Yeah, Greg's good people. A little 'off', though. I do remember him back when he wore his Carrier jersey, that was way back.

Never said I was just making an observation of CatFan. No way in hell would I want one of those bobbles much less ask him for his autograph unless it was going to go to some charity. If he does do some sort of charity work for hospitals then good for him, that is worthy of being a "Super Fan" or whatever it is called. As far as the best fan in the NFL is either the barrel guy in Denver, the Spiked shoulder pad guy in Oakland come to mind. That and PantherFanz in that Tampa game down in Tampa when you see him arms raised in a blocked field goal. That was classic

Isn't his profession some sort of youth counseling? I was thinking it was along those types of lines.

Good grief, I wonder if the female (can't say lady) you're talking about Meatpile is one I'm thinking of that's always at practice and talks to all the players like they're best buds. I think I'd have to wash my dog after that encounter!

Prolly. We were by the fence and the oline was doing drills like 3 feet away. She basically yelled that it was OK my dog (200 lbs) was driving his nose into her crotch because she was on the rag and he was attracted to the blood.
