we had absolutely no answer for what they did to stop Smith. They had a linebacker in his face and a corner behind that, for a number of plays. You telling me this offense can't find anything else? That's fucking poor.

They also dominated the LOS - in every way in can be dominated.

    That's what astounded me...

How can Jake not find an open receiver with 3 guys covering Smitty????

If our receivers can't get open, that's another problem...

There were voids in that defense...either Jake is locked down too much or Henning needs his eyes checked...

there are weaknesses there. I have no idea how we didn't pick on their safeties more than we did.

Jake had little time. He was runing for his life.

This one was about the LOS......we lost on both sides.

I think Seattle will beat the shit out of pittsburgh.

I was thinking the same thing. Smitty was holding up 4 fingers at one point. How in the hell can none of our other recievers not step into that situation and have a breakout game.

I ain't the smartest guy in the room, but doubling and triple covering smitty has GOT TO open up other opportunities for guys to step up... nobody did.:banginghe

You could see it on them. I saw it from the first snap, I just hoped it wasn't what I thought it was. Stuffed dive plays, dropped balls, I knew an INT was coming.

    It looked like Chicago.

I can't believe they got a deep ball on Lucas, caught by a shit 2nd string QB.

I've always thought Seattle a powerful team. i want Pittsburgh to win that one, I think, but Seattle's tough.

Eisen and Lincoln Kennedy were just expressing suprise at how we got physically dominated in the trenches.
