I don't understand the excuses. Jake had plenty of time given how much Seattle was blitzing. Even the first Bernard sack was the result of Jake dropping much too deep and then continuing to drift back instead of stepping up into what was still an intact pocket. That wasn't Gross' fault. Certainly there was consistent pressure from Seattle, but Jake was rarely hit and only sacked twice. His INTs were simply Jake being Jake, not the fault of the run game or the line or Henning or anyone else someone wants to throw under the bus. He is what he is, and if you want his good then you have to take his bad, and who didn't realize after the six games this season I kept talking about that this was in him?

Im not going to get into the Jake thing. I love the guy, its been documented. I also get plenty mad at him, which Im allowed to do. BUt the INTS were all on him. The sack was on him. THis does not mean I want to replace him. But he fucking sucked today.

I dont know that it would matter where they had the ball though. Our defense was awful.

Yeah, it just would have made the score closer. And no, we aren't going to replace him, but he needs to improve.

Hey Asswipe, I am a real fan, so FUCK YOU. I call it like it is. Jake, in the biggest game of this year, threw off of his foot, made bad, strike that, HORRIBLE decisions, and, as a result, put our defense, which was shaky-good at best, in shit positions.:banginghe

I have always stood by him, and probably always will. I just think that, with our style of offense, we need a quarterback who can carry us when we need it. Jake in 2003 could/did. Jake 2005 could not. As a matter of fact, he lost more games this year than he won for us.

Do I pull for him? Hell yes, I do. I love him. I just see, with my Jake glasses off, his limitations. He freaked tonight, and gave Seattle premium field position.

That being said, if our O-line had given him the protection that they did over our last two games, then we would not be having this conversation. It goes back to: good O-Line+decent QBack=good results.

Please, go back to Charlotte.com and whip it out like you think that you can.

    Yours truly,
    Fuck.

Jake couldnt have played any worse. Few quarterbacks in the NFL could have. That was disgusting. Of course, the rest of the team was right there with them. No need to bitch about individuals, the entire team wasn't ready. Just too many tough games to overcome. It caught up with us.

I saw coach Fox give Jake the WTF? salute after one of his bonehead throws... looked that way anyhow.
He had a couple right together in one sereies.

But we mailed it in across the board too, OL, D, Coaches, Game Prep.

The seahags topped it off with great prep and played hard... the bastages.

I saw where Pitt practiced/preped with 14 loudspeakers that were louder than the crowd gameday... I'll bet we didn't prep that well today... and it certainly showed
