This, you could get away with. 'Cause they don't.

Of the NFL coverage I read, watch, and listen to, the only major media figures I've seen consistently give Carolina the credit they deserve are ESPN's Tom Jackson and FOX's Howie Long. For the most part, ESPN hates the Panthers (especially Steve Young). CBS gets sort of a free pass because they're paid to pump up the AFC anyway, and we're pretty much a non-factor on ABC.

To be honest, it kinda pisses me off.

The entire Fox crew pretty much loves the Panthers (normally Peter King of SI does too). And speaking of, Terry Bradshaw seems more stupid and scatter-brained than usual lately. Either he's on some new medication or he just stopped caring what he sounds like.

Collinsworth is the worst. Worse than Young. I don't know where his irrational hatred of the Panthers came from, maybe from me cussing him out from my seat after Panthers/Bucs '03. But it is odd, to say the least.

You might've caught me living in the past a little. In '03, it seemed to me like FOX really wanted Philly to win the NFCCG. Bradshaw, in particular, looked awkward presenting the Halas(is that right?) trophy to Fox.

Regarding TB's wackiness of late, either of your suggestions is likely. :D

    Skippy is a POS too.

To his credit, Sean Salisbury has stuck with his pick since the beginning of the season. The panthers bipolar disease seemED to drive him as crazy as it does us.
