Today is the best I have seen him play. Most of the time when he has big yard totals it is because he broke a couple long runs but today he just grinded it out. That is what I have never seen him do and what made me skeptical of his chance to be our feature back. I am still not sold on him as our future for various reasons but he really played well today.

his price tag is going up. If he wants to play on west coast where is it going to be SF?

I am not sure I want to give him the big payday. Regardless of how well he plays in the playoffs he has not proven he can do it for a whole season. Today certainly was encouraging.

I think the smart thing to do is have two guys, like we had with #48 healthy. Foster can be one of them in my book, as long as he doesn't cost too much.

My wife kept commenting on the way he held the ball. It was out there out alot. If he carries it that way next week it could not be good. But he was very productive today.

If he gets 68 yds on 20 carries, which way will you go?
