Yes, but the topic was defensive end tandems, each of theirs have out produced each of ours in terms of the above.

You are only looking at this year's stats. Uma does not have a history of being great so to say he is better than either Rucker or Peppers is a bit premature.

Jake Plummer had a better year than Brett Favre this year but it does not mean he is a better QB.

Actually, all it does is give the commentators something else to talk about and hype during the game to make it more interesting to viewers that otherwise don't closely follow the teams. It's less BB material than it is Broadcaster material. Though if I were Rucker, I'd probably have taken offense.

It's all irrelevant. See NFC Title Game, 2003.

All the talk that week from Dawkins, Vincent and others about how Foxy picked Philly to lost to GB. Actually put it up on a bulletin board. Too bad it was manufactured, as Fox never made such predictions. What Fox did say on the Fox Network Pregame on the Sunday after the Rams win was something to the effect of "we will be pulling for Green Bay so we can have one more home game."

Then, there was Ricky Manning, opining that the Eagles receivers were not physical enough to handle Carolina. More BB material. Again, never mattered.

Just doesn't matter. It's media fodder.

And, for the record. Osi was right, in the sense that he and Strahan have produced a higher sack total this season. It's an argument will not be won, on either side. Like most of the pissing matches I see around here.

OK, how many of you would trade Peppers and Rucker for Umenyiora and Strahan straight up. I know I wouldn't.

Read this morning (don't know where) that since 2002 (Umenyiora rooie year), him and Strahan rank 5th in sack totals where Peppers and Rucker rank 3rd. Don't have the link.
