He needs to watch more TV. All I heard this weekend was "Watch out for the Pats!".

It's their calling card. They could win 8 of the next 10 Super Bowls, be favored by 30, and say with a straight face that they are being overlooked.

Maybe they should have focused a little harder on beating Miami, instead of drop-kicking extra points, if they're really concerned about a lack of respect. Still, I give them credit for nearly winning the game with Matt Cassell.

I don't think they were that worried about winning, no.

But yeah. They love that "no respect." "They think that championship was a fluke because we only won by 3." "They say we have no stars." "They say we're not as good with _____________ injured."

But, all the same, it's not like the Panthers' staff hasn't asked people to "not hype" them.

Some would say that NE lost on purpose, a notion I find rediculous.

When you play Matt Cassell for 4 quarters and your 2nd string defense for 4 quarters, I'de say you lost on purpose.

The Patriots have been playing that underdog/no respect card for years - this isn't new at all. Even after they repeated they were saying they were over looked and no one favored them outside their fan base. Didn't wash with me then, doesn't now - coach has even said the same thing.
