    You could use the XP install CD if you can get it to pick up before the hard drive.

    so much for f-disk... i cant use a boot disk either...

    If you can get the bios update boot disk to work.

    i finally got it..
    Thanks for all the suggestions...
    i got it to boot from the xp cd...
