Shaun Alexander should be a Carolina Panther.

Yeah, we should have drafted him. :imagestor

I think we would all agree, this organization wouldn't foot the kind of bunk he'll require for ay RB.

We didn't have a pick high enough to get him and besides, I think we really wanted Rashard Anderson BAD and we had a pretty low mileage Tshimanga Biakabutuka. :satana: We also were set with our QB of the future in Jeff Lewis allowing us to repeatedly pass on the questionable talents of Marc Bulger, Tim Rattay and of course Tom Brady. Hind sight. Gotta love it.

Could the Panthers make a run at Alexander?

They could but I doubt they will. I see them throwing bunches of money at Foster to keep him and not run into the situation like they did with Moose. It would have been nice to have kept Moose but the money and his age didn't work out too well. But I think they will bend to fan reaction on Foster. I would rather them draft a back that fits the Panthers style of play. And at the least follow Denver's scouts around at the combine and copy their notes. They seem to pick some winners at RB.

If they bend to this fan's reaction concerning Foster they will absolutely not throw bunches of money at him. :77321_bs:
