I don't believe it was the right call.

I also don't believe that ejecting Smith was necessarily the right call. Certainly, I don't think Smith intended to do that.

These two were, to me, pretty obvious. But sure, I'm a Carolina guy. But it was enough that I almost expected to see a late PI after Dallas scored, to even things out.

Speaking of questionable PI, I was fully expecting that they were going to get Glenn for pushing off on McCree when McCree was called for PI. Unfortunately, Marlon wasn't looking at the ball (which seemed underthrown and looked like it was dying), so I can't bitch that it was the "wrong call", but I still feel like Glenn pushed off and shouldn't get away with that.

But yes. Tackle. You tackle, Jones doesn't get away with a bunch of horseshit runs. Jones has been shitty almost all year. You put together one good early 4th Q long drive, or cover Keyshawn late in the game, and this game's at least in OT, if not just outright won. We got hosed, IMO, but we did ourselves in. We're the reason we lost.

I smell the 1919 White Sox in Pantherland.

Boys, you can blame the refs all you want to but some of the players didn't look like themselves over the last few games.

Lucas giving Keyshawn a friggin cushion? Keyshawn couldn't run past my grandmother and she's dead.

One running back running for 200 yards on the #4 run defense? Our local middle school teams could have run on that defense the way they've played the past couple of weeks.

We don't go after Bledsoe the whole damn game with only a couple of exceptions? On an O-line that is supposed to be terrible? The Dallas O-line owned us today.

Special teams giving up that return at the end of the game?

The O-line all of a sudden can't block? The RBs can't run? Delhomme throwing into triple friggin coverage for a pick? And that idiot is a pro bowl QB?

As usual, we play NOT to lose and invariably get beaten by bad teams. This team has played better than that and one of these days maybe everybody will get on the same page where it says . . . Bury 'em early. We still don't know how to stand on their throats.
