Not for Jones running on us, no. That was on the players. But our defense was terrible, and if you know what the team is going to run, its easy to dictate.

Fact is, the last few weeks, we havent shown an ability to adjust. You can defend it all you want, and the players are certainly to blame as well, but it was awful out there. The players too. All of them. Not one person or facet can be blamed. Its all of em.

No, as I said, I didn't see play-calling being an issue at all today. Maybe we played three deep more than we should have, but the play-calling simply wasn't a reason that we lost today, much less "the" reason. We made the right calls and seemed to have a good idea of when they would run and when they would throw, our guys just didn't make the plays.

Jake looked like shit today. His INT when he threw into triple coverage was inexcusable

Sure, but youre wrong. Its awful easy to always say its the players and execution, and I understand youre going to defend your guy till the death. I also understand that its time for you to tow the line and say we have 10 wins, and thats special, and the coaches are simply absolved of all blame, and that its foolish for us to think we wont make the playoffs, and the same tired bullshit. THe pom poms only work until the shine is wore off from the mirrors, and the smoke is all gone.

Huh? I don't give a shit about Trgovac or Henning, I'm just a far better judge of where to lay blame than you are, especially after a loss. And if anyone should be pissed, it's me, because I had to sit with five of the most obnoxious Cowboys fans I have ever had the misfortune of meeting.

There were clearly some things that fall on the players. For example, Dallas fumbled twice in our territory during the 3rd quarter, and we failed to recover. Carstens (who was shit today, BTW) tried to pick up the first one, instead of just sitting his big ass on top of it. Newman muffs a punt, and we can't make an easy recovery.

Past that, our guys just got their asses handed to them, and Dallas deserves a great deal of credit for sticking to their gameplan after an early deficit.

Yeah. One guy looked like he would punch me when I said, "Ok, everyone who hasn't graduated high school needs to sit down." One of the other guys also got pretty pissed when I ragged him about his knockoff Roy Williams jersey, since the stars on the shoulders were coming unraveled. Ultimately they got the last laugh.

And yeah B&B, Carstens has played really well lately but was absolutely awful today.

Why did we lose today? Simply we coud not run the ball, its the same problem we've had all year. When the per carry average on a team whose entire philosophy is run oriented hovers at 3.2 yards, then you lose. Blocking scheme, o-line, or running back, something has got to change.
