Brunell or Bledsoe, but honestly who else has had a bette year than Delhomme? Chris Simms? Marc Bulger? Alex Smith? There isn't anyone else.

    Pro Bowl by default. Congrats!:ylsuper:

Peppers' reputation is still well-deserved, I think. He's still streaky and disappears at times, but every OC the Panthers face is up late at night gameplanning against him, I bet. Rucker is probably as deserving, and hopefully he'll get a nod as an alternate.

    Agreed.

I love Lucas, but that's a hard group to break into. He's had a great year, but so has Barber. He's a different kind of player than Hall, but yeah -- he's still better. So in that regard, you're probably right. He got snubbed.

    I can't.

I couldn't argue against Winfield and Tillman if they had been the top 2 NFC CB's.

It blew my mind that Don Banks said Alex Brown deserved it more than Peppers. Brown had a great game against us and then the following week against the Buccaneers, but he's been completely ordinary the rest of the season (only one other sack, no FFs, and not many tackles). Peppers really struggled early on, but I think he's been a big factor both against the run and the pass over the last half of the season.

Peppers struggled early on. He also was working through the ankle injury that he suffered in preseason, and aggravated again against Atlanta, plus the hand injury. But it was between Peppers and Rice, and JP does more than just rush the passer. It's a sign of respect. Guys know who is giving them headaches
