    It's just a shame.

Makes me wonder if this has been a harder time for Dungy than he's ever shown. Perhaps his son was showing all the warning signs of depression, bipolar disorder, panic, agoraphobia. Or perhaps, he never showed anything, which would make this all the more heartbreaking for his family.

18-years old. I don't care if your father is Daddy Warbucks, it doesn't erase the possibility that depression, left untreated, could have led to this tragedy.

If the kid was not depressed, not bipolar, and not on drugs, it's still tragic and a damn shame.

It is a tragedy no matter what the circumstances were behind it, but it wasn't appropriate for people to attack Coach MiCool simply because he stated his valid opinion about suicide.

It's not the viewpoint that I have a problem with, as much as the timing of advertising it. If it's discovered that the kid had severe phychological trauma, it's hard for me to label him selfish. Something else I imagine is he was a desperate kid who has not yet developed the skills/coping mechanisms to deal with that degree of illness.

If he just offed himself, then fine. But we are days, if not months, away from knowing the true cause of this tragedy.

What's more: It's none of my concern.

    Tru dat.

Can we at least have a '3' for the boy's body fluids that likely purged themselves post mortem?

Here on the football board, I'll give a "51" to an untimely but courageous death. And a "58" to anyone going through a really hard time.

So, until we know more, here's a big 58 to the Dungy family. You're in my prayers.

That's the thing. Why trash someone for whatever reason when their dead. It's IMO totally classless. He is dead and there are family that are missing a loved one.

    You know what....you're right.

May E rest in peace, but 51 is my new tribute to the fallen.
