OK, Saturday's my first Panthers game in person, after a decade of remote fanhood.

I'll be coming down from the mountains (Asheville area) Saturday, with a buddy, my son and one of his school pals. It being Christmas Eve, with the rest of our families back home, we won't have time for tailgating, etc., fun as that would be (but we will stay 'til the end of the game!). I mainly need to know a couple of things:

-Best place to park for entry at the North gate.
-How early to arrive for a bit of a look at BOA before getting to our seats for kickoff.
-Any other general tips about timing concession runs, etc.

Looking forward to making a little noise from Sec. 509. :woohoo:

an hour early in the stadium will give you time to check it out

concessions are sort of expensive. bring cash, you DO NOT want to wait at an ATM line in BofA

beer sales stop at the end of 3rd qtr

parking....someone else can probably offer up a better spot, but anything around morehead is good

Thanks, QCR. One thing I forgot to ask: How many $ to park?

Couple of really good lots adjacent to the practice fields, ($15.00 - 20.00) then it's a quick walk up the hill and across the Path that runs between the Panthers players parking lot and their entrance, if you have time after the game you can see the players come out and snag an autograph or two, also if you get in early 11:30ish, they'll lt you walk down near the tunnel and get an autograph.

$15-25. you can find $10 , but you will be walking a bit. (expensive lots are not really worth it if you can't tailgate)

if you want to get to this lot, get off hwy 77 at exit 10b (I think) go up West trade street, make a right on S.Cedar and drive down until you see the practice fields on you left, then the lots will be just ahead on your right. btw, if you park here as you walk up the path to the stadium you'll pass Pantherfanz bus and tailgating extravanganza on the right.

Yo, Attic. We've got six fella's coming to the game from the South Buncombe area.
We usually park by the Jumpin Joe's coffee shop. It's where Stonewall, Tryon, and Morehead streets form a city block around the parking lot. Pretty quick walk downhill to the BoA from there. Nice paved lot. $20 to park.
PM me if you want to caravan or whatever.
