I'd like to hear from the Bears fans about the switch from Orton to Grossman in the Sunday game vs. the Vicks. Is that something you guys have been wanting to see happen? Or not?

Is he done? Hell no. Was Weinke done after going 1-15? Well, never mind. Bad comparison since there was a coaching change later.

However, the reason they got Orton was as insurance for Rex. Now that Rex is back, and I admit I was growing frustrated with Orton and the play calling, it's Rex's job. If he goes down or stumbles, Kyle's there with snaps under his belt. I got no problem with either. Rex's entry last night provided a spark the offense desperately needed.

Im happy we got Orton around and hope they will truely make it an "open" compitition in training camp next year (unlike the last couple years). Besides Orton is a 4th round rookie.. he has plenty of years left on a nice cheap rookie contract, I dont see him going anywhere.

That said, Ortons passing was driving me (and the bears players it appears) crazy. Grossman has the stronger arm and is better at reading defenses then Orton is at this point.

Because of this, he gives us the best shot at actually doing something in the playoffs.. not just be happy to be at the party.
