I've noticed that the officals in the several of the games are calling alot of the same pentalies. Freaky calls. Early in the season it was blocking in the back on nearly every return. Then it was the game where they got Gross for not being on the LOS twice. Last week it was defensive holding on Buckner. This week it was offensive holding. And not one call for the Saints linemen basically mugging our D-line on every pass play.

Buck and Ruck were giving the refs hell for holding. Legitimately. They got away with several.

Ron Winter's group is the worst. They call shit every week that really shouldn't. Every game I watch with them they seem flag happy about everything even close. It does go both ways though.

They've called a bunch of face masks that weren't, PIs and wr holding that weren't and if an offensive lineman even so much as ... well ...blinks, it's a false start. Those guys are brutal.

Also I've seen them call helmet to helmet a few times that weren't, and by god don't even sneeze on the QB.

And waht's with the Mcree hits that get called? Is it because he celebrates like an ass about it? Cause smitty got plastered as bad last week and it was a non call.

the mcree hit yesterday was a good call. The receiver was "defenseless" and it was helmet to helmet i'm pretty sure. Amusing that it was a tight end (I think), the same position he laid out in the first game.

The announcers mentioned smitty's hit and non-call last week though.

It wasn't helmet to helmet, it was shoulder to chest. It was a good hit.

Smith did not give any part of his body over the pylon on his rushing TD. That one was a gift... I'm surprised the Saints didn't challenge.

We got a play off extra fast so they wouldn't have time. Or maybe Haslett just didn't give a damn.

i kinda felt sorry for haslett yesterday. The play where Louman fumbled, Hasletts face looked to be in severe pain. Then they showed him in replay and he clearly said "oh fuck" then contorted his face. I laughed.

With no crowd noise to speak of, you could CLEARLY hear what the players were yelling on the field.

Jake, after his QB sneak for a touchdwon, when slapping and high fiving players on their way back to the sideline - "FUCK YEAH!!! HELL YEAH!"

    :woohoo:

I wonder if it was essentially a push-out type thing? He would have been over the goal line had the saints play not pushed him out of bounds. He clearly would have landed in the endzone had he not been hit in mid-air.
