    Colbert's awful.

I'm not one of the ones all over Carter's jock, but all the same, he looked workable out there.

I thought he looked real good for a first game. He played physically. Got of a jam on the replay we saw. Held the ball (probably) when hit. Broke up the INT. The catch he made for a first down was physical and intense. He got stripped of a catch too, of course.

Just a first impression, but I liked it.

apparently we signed that S, #29, to the active squad when we IR'd Bashir. He played STs coverage. Maybe that was why they could inactivate Smart. So Wild came up for Gardner. Cramer for Davis. So no open spots, except on PS.

In limited action, he outplayed Colbert. Who looked completely out of it.

I'm not calling him the second coming, but we can't have a second reciever that's a liability out their. Colbert really had an eye opening, in a bad way, game.

Well you can't blame Delhomme for not looking at Colbert, when he never helps out by moving towards the ball aggressively or dropping passes. We drafted the guy based on his pass catching ability and route running.

Gardner looked like a way better receiver for the Packers the other night than Colbert or Carter ever have for the Panthers.

He definately looked better for them than he did us. I guess they have an easier playbook than ours. :lalala:
